A little bit about Jas and I
Jas is a longtime blogger. She’s been blogging for about 10 years now and is the founder of Miss Millennia Magazine.
My background is mainly former military and residential construction. Working digitally and blogging full-time is a new world to me. Lucky, I have an exceptional mentor who is an expert blogger and also happens to be my lovely wife. Since this is a welcome change, I’m super excited about the journey ahead. I can’t wait to share all the useful pieces of information that I pick up along the way.
What’s covered in our Blogging Income Reports?
We talk about all the numbers. Starting off with our user sessions and then discovering where those readers are coming from.
Why is this important? Well, if we’re managing our revenue streams correctly, there should be a direct correlation between traffic growth and income. So in other words, the more traffic we get to our blog, the more income we bring in.
Next, I’ll also be giving monthly updates on the growth of our social media networks and of our email list. These are two very powerful tools that we use to drive traffic to our blog posts and YouTube Channel.
Income and Expenses
Something else that I’m excited to provide is an inside look at “the books”. You will have eyes on our business monetization tracker sheet. Each month I will rundown exactly how much money we brought in and how much money we send out.
As far as revenue is concerned, we’re going into detail on our five different income streams. These revenue sources include affiliate income, sponsored posts, advertising, product sales, and last but not least YouTube.
What’s Affiliate Marketing you ask? Well, in simple terms it’s an arrangement between you and a retailer. The affiliate agrees to pays a commission for every click and sale that is generated from their link within your article.
Are you looking for the best tips on how to grow your blog’s affiliate program? Check out Jas’s video, Affiliate Marketing Tips for Beginners. It’s an awesome video! Watch it to find out the exact process she used to grow her affiliate income. She went from $200 per month to more than $4,000 per month.
We love when companies pay us money to advertise our favorite products, and that’s what happens with a sponsored post. In short, a sponsored post is an article with a product link in it. The sponsor has agreed to pay a flat fee to write and publish their article on your blog. Now, how would you like to have the very best tips on how to get selected for the sponsored post opportunities? Just check out our video, How to Get Selected for Sponsored Post Opportunities on Your Blog, and thank me later.
Sure ads can be annoying, but they are one of the fastest ways to make passive income on your site. Ad revenue is income earned from displaying a paid advertisement on our blog. You’ve definitely seen these before. These usually show up as banner ads across the top of the blog or on the sidebar of the web page.
We’re going to discuss the income that we bring in from the sales of our own products. Developing and selling your own product is one of the most powerful ways to make money with your blog.
Do you know what the best part about selling your own product is? You don’t have to split your revenue with an ad network, or any other company. That’s right, any money you make is your money to keep.
So far, we have already brought in over $600 from the sales of our products in our first month of blogging. Our products Blogging Money Update, Blogging Money Formula, and the Sponsored Post Pricing Tool has already done very well for us and I am excited to see future holds.
Jas and I are both new to YouTube. We’ve started our channel in the month of March 2021, and we still have a lot to learn. What we do know is that there are a few different ways for bloggers to earn money through YouTube.
For now, we’re focusing on YouTube’s partnership program and growing our channel to meet the requirements for the program. There are basic requirements that we have to meet to qualify for this program. The first is that we have to have at least 1,000 subscribers. The second is that we need to generate over 4,000 watch hours within the past 12 months of our channel’s life.
So this was a quick summary of what is going to be included in our blogging income report 2021. The first episode will be released in September with a new blog post flowing it up a week later.
Whether you’re a digital nomad and you want to transition to a full-time travel blogger, aniche blogger who is new to the game, even if you run a lifestyle blog that already making money. Our blog income report will have something for you. “Believe it!”
